Sandi Boone

At Wildlands Network: Sandi Boone has been the Chief Financial Officer for Wildlands Network since May 2005. In addition to her financial responsibilities, which includes oversight of all accounting functions, she handles human resource issues, wrangles the donor database, helps maintain the website, and organizes our Fall Fundraising Campaign.

Off the Clock: Practically a native of Florida, she lives on the East Coast with her husband and two dogs.  She enjoys spending time with her grandson, Ryan, taking him fishing, camping, birding, and horseback riding.  She is proud of her two grown sons; Bryan is in the Navy, and Jason is a video production specialist in Florida.  Traveling is also high on her list of favorite things, with Africa being her favorite destination to date.

Background:  Sandi joined Wildlands Network after working for six years at the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne FL, where she was the Finance and Operations Director. Before working for the zoo, she worked for a variety of small private business where she enjoyed adding a wide variety of duties to her accounting and finance responsibilities.   She has 25 years experience in the accounting field with 13 years being in the non-profit sector. Sandi graduated from University of Central Florida with a BSBA in Accounting.
